For this blog assignment we are supposed to tell who are favorite candidate for the presidential election is. This is pretty hard because I don’t believe there is any one really good candidate but I guess that nobody is perfect. My choice right now will probably be Mike Huckabee. He’s a 53 year old Republican from North Little Rock, Ark. His education includes a bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University, and a Masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was elected lieutenant governor of Arkansas in a special election andwas subsequently voted to a full four year term in 1994.
I think that this man has the best values and he goes along with a lot that I believe as a Christian. He is against abortion and that is a major plus. He believes that marriage should be between ONE man and ONE woman.
I think I will be choosing between the lesser of the evils this election. :-/

ONE man and ONE woman not ONE man and ONE man. O-o
Or ONE man and FIVE women. (Scary!)
Or any other weird stuff. D=

I just feel that none of them are really up for the job? I really think that Huckabee may lack some of the necessary experience but I think he will do a good job.
Sorry you can’t vote yet, Katherine. I got to vote in 2007 & it was pretty neat. You get to use the eraser of a pencil to make your choice on a computer screen…America…so amazing!

I am also in favor of Mike Huckabee. I’m saddened that he is falling behind. I hate the thought of having to choose between the lesser of two evils also. I saw a bumper sticker that said “ANYONE but Hilary”
and get someone elected that will uphold our values. Thanks for writing about such an important issue.
I read an article that said that conservatives voting for what they believe in (pro-life / traditional marriage, etc) is what won Bush his second term. Hopefully we can do it again

I am really surprised that this election really doesn’t have any really good candidates. I hope that this will not continue in the future. It sure is scary. Hopefully someone with our values will get into office! and ANYONE BUT HILARY!
